The key to finding an effective corporate tone of voice is to communicate with people in a way that they find easy to understand. This is a very important consideration for those creating the content for the organisation, either in the form of the written word or visual media, as well as the way a script is spoken.


The every day language and vocabulary, which is naturally used within certain organisations can have a tendency to come across as forbidding and unapproachable. People connect when they feel they are being spoken to plainly in a more conversational way. This builds a feeling of trust.


The tone I use to voice this script for Gemalto Bank reflects this approach to the writing. It is explanatory but conversational, informal while at same time I'm conveying a sense of being knowledgable and authentic.



La clave para encontrar un tono de voz eficaz corporativo, es comunicarse de una manera que resulte fácil de entender. Una consideración muy importante al redactar el contenido para una organización o empresa, ya sea al redactarlo o utilizando una comunicación visual.


El lenguaje y el vocabulario cotidiano que se utiliza puede llegar a ser inaccesibles a veces. Existe una mayor conexión entre la gente cuando se emplea un lenguaje coloquial. Esto crea un sentimiento de confianza.


El tono que utilizo para comunicar el mensaje del banco Gemalto se refleja en el contenido escrito. Es explicativo, coloquial e informal, mientras que al mismo tiempo estoy transmitiendo la sensación de tener el conocimiento, de dar un mensaje auténtico.
